David Cummings Golf

I am a Titleist Performance Institute certified instructor and a TrackMan certified professional at Falmouth Country Club in Falmouth, Maine. Throughout my amateur and professional career, I sought advice from many of the top fifty teachers in America, including:

Mike Bender (6)

David Leadbetter (7)

Mark Blackburn (27)

Joe Hallett (44)

(Golf Digest rankings, November 2017)

Together, they helped me form my ideas about how to swing the club and how to play golf, and also how to teach.

My teaching philosophy as a Titlest Performance Institute certified instructor is that the most efficient swing is not the same for every golfer, because efficiency is unique to everyone's body. To achieve an efficient swing, a golfer must first be screened. This process involves an assessment of swing mechanics and biomechanics, physical fitness, movement quality, current health, and a client history.

I do not believe in one way to swing the club, but rather an infinite number of swing styles. I can identify your best swing based on what you can do physically.

As a TrackMan certified professional, I understand why the best players in the world rely on TrackMan for its accuracy and reliability. From major championship winners to high handicappers, TrackMan is changing the way golfers practice and the way that we teach them. Having access to TrackMan's swing and ball flight data is essential to improving your game in an efficient way.
